Student Stipend Program


The Division on Dynamical Astronomy of the American Astronomical Society has provided two stipends of $400 each on a competitive basis to two students to attend the 2004 DDA meeting in Cannes, France, April 20-23, 2004 Meeting registration and abstract fees are waived, too. Sean Raymond of the University of Washington, advisor Tom Quinn, will present "Making other Earths: Dynamical Simulations of Terrestrial Planet Formation and Water Delivery" by Sean Raymond, Tom Quinn, and Jonathan Lunine.

Dimitri Veras of the University of Colorado, advisor Phil Armitage, will present "The Dynamics of Two Planets on Inclined Orbits" by Dimitri Veras and Phil Armitage.
